About this service
Decks and fences collect green algae and gray weathering. We clean wood, composite, and vinyl with the appropriate solution and low pressure, which restores the surface and preps it properly if you plan to stain or seal.
How we do it
We apply a cleaner suited to the material, allow it to work, then rinse with low pressure moving with the grain. Composite and vinyl are cleaned with soft wash methods; we never blast wood.
Good to know
- Cleaning is the right first step before staining; let the wood dry for a couple of days before you apply anything.
- Composite decking should never be pressure washed at high PSI. We use low pressure and the right cleaner.
- Very weathered wood may show raised grain after cleaning. A light sanding fixes it if you plan to refinish.
