About this service
Soft washing uses a cleaning solution and low pressure to remove green algae, black mildew, and everyday dirt from siding, trim, and soffits. It does the work chemically instead of by force, so paint, cedar, vinyl, and stucco are cleaned rather than stripped.
How we do it
We apply a soft wash solution from the ground with a dedicated low-pressure system, let it dwell, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Landscaping is pre-wet and rinsed, and outlets and fixtures are covered before we start.
Good to know
- Soft washing is the correct method for vinyl, painted wood, cedar shingle, Hardie board, and stucco.
- Most homes need this once every one to two years; shaded, north-facing walls may need it yearly.
- We will tell you if a surface should not be washed, such as failing paint or loose caulk.
